Since snapshot 25w03a packmakers are able to add custom models for when an item is renamed!

My resource pack Barely Default intends to add all the lore of Minecraft to Minecraft Java Edition.

THIS PACK ALSO ALLOWS FOR CUSTOM TORCHES!

By renaming various items like iron nuggets or a stone type to "Sconce", you will get an item that looks like a custom torch when placed in an item frame behind a torch! That was a mouthful of test...but it's a really cool feature and it's avaliable in many styles!
