New Biomes

  • Added Magnia Crags biome
    • Added Alluring Magnia, a white coral-esque block that covers the surface

    • Towers made of magnia appear throughout the biome, their stems made of repulsive magnia leading into a bulb of alluring magnia, surrounded by rings
    • Magnia blocks will often make "humming" sounds
    • Magnia blocks can be crafted into etched versions, Etched Alluring Magnia and Etched Repulsive Magnia respectively
    • Throughout the biome, Magnia Sprouts generate on respective magnia
      • Alluring Magnia Sprouts appear on alluring magnia. When powered, they will attract items, metallic mobs, and mobs wearing metallic armor towards themselves
      • Repulsive Magnia Sprouts appear on repulsive magnia. They function like alluring magnia sprouts, but repel instead of attract
  • Added Veiled Woodlands biome
    • Added Veiled End Stone, which covers much of the ground
    • Added Wisp Sprouts and Wisp Growth, which grow on veiled end stone
    • Added Wisp Flowers, which are two blocks tall and emit light, and grow on veiled end stone
    • Added veiled trees, which appear throughout the biome
      • The majority of veiled tree logs grow inside the ground, rather than the air
      • Above ground, veiled trees have bowl shaped leaves
      • Veiled vines grow upwards from the veiled leaves
      • Veiled vines create leaf particles, which fly in the wind
      • Underneath veiled tree leaves, veiled leaf carpets generate, which can be walked through
      • Veiled leaf carpets have layers, like snow. The more layers, the harder it becomes to walk through
    • Added Rustles, a new mob for Veiled Woodlands
      • Odd, pale creatures resembling sea slugs or silkworms
      • Wander the veiled woodlands aimlessly, occasionally going to sleep in piles of leaves (or on carpets, if you wish!)
      • Have poor eyesight, only looking at players very close to them, and are prone to startling when bumping into mobs
      • Tempted and bred using Murublight Shelves

  • Overhauled End City structure
    • Received a visual update making use of new Enderscape blocks
    • End Vaults (unlocked with End City Keys) are now the primary source of high-tier loot
    • Chests now contain lower-tier loot
    • End Trial Spawner arenas can be found on pathways and on the roofs of many houses
    • Houses now have much more interior variation, and have varied furniture, chest loot, and occasionally vaults
    • Ships now use a spawner and vault in place of loot chests and the Elytra item frame
      • The spawner inside ships always gives a key, and the vault always gives an Elytra
  • Mirestone Ruins
    • Found in Corrupt Barrens
    • Made almost entirely out of Mirestone blocks
    • Contains items like food, gunpowder, leather, etc.
    • Contains new Music Disc "decay"
  • Overhauled End Gateway structure design
    • Exterior now made of shadoline blocks
  • Added Large End Gateway structure

  • Added Rubble Chitin
    • Replaces bone meal in drops by rubblemites
    • 25% chance to drop, and yields one, up to four with Looting III

    • Crafted with rubble chitin, shadoline, and either end stone, mirestone, veradite, or kurodite
    • The shield design depends on what stone it was crafted with

    • Can now be used in Dispensers, and will work on mobs other than players.
    • Now more lenient with lodestone teleportation, obstruction is far less strict, and you can teleport to more than just the top of a lodestone.
  • Rubblemites have been updated and rebalanced

    • Rubblemites now use brain AI system instead of goals
    • Rubblemites spawn more often in End Highlands and End Midlands
    • When hit, they take damage then retreat into their shell. While in their shell, they are invulnerable to most damage
    • When hit in previous versions, they retreated into their shell without taking damage, only afterwards were they vulnerable
    • Rubblemites now deal 6 attack damage instead of 10 attack damage
    • Rubblemites no longer rarely spawn allies upon taking damage
  • Drifters have been updated and rebalanced

    • Drifters now use brain AI system instead of goals
    • Bouncing on drifters is now much more consistent and safe, thanks to significant code improvements
    • Bouncing on drifters now boosts you significantly higher
    • Drifters bounced on by mobs wearing feather falling no longer play their hurt sound
    • Drifters now rise when in water instead of taking damage
    • Drifters naturally start or stop leaking jelly every 15 to 20 minutes
      • This timer is reset when they are milked manually by the player and every time they start or stop leaking naturally
      • In previous versions, drifters had a 0.25% chance to begin leaking jelly every tick after an 8 minute cooldown
    • Driftlets now properly follow adult drifters
  • Shadoline ore blocks drop raw shadoline, smeltable into ingots

  • Updated textures for Shadoline blocks

  • Nebulite tools can be fueled by nebulite in inventory directly

  • Nebulite blocks no longer powered by redstone

  • Config: much of Enderscape can now be configured

  • Corrupt Depths, a new biome that generates underneath the outer End Islands

  • Barren Depths and Barren Skies now generate as default biomes underneath the End Islands and in the End Skies respectively

  • Small Islands now generate in the skies of The End very rarely, allowing as a rest point for Elytra flight and something nice overhead

  • Corrupt Mycelium and Corrupt Growth grow in the Corrupt Depths on the biome's ceilings

    • Corrupt Mycelium can be placed in any direction
    • Corrupt Mycelium can be paved into Corrupt Paths, which can also face any direction
    • Corrupt Mycelium can be fertilized with Bone Meal to spread onto nearby End Stone
    • Corrupt Growth can face any direction as long as it has appropriate ground to stand on

      • Fully grown Blinklight bulbs can manually blink by a Player
    • Blinklights emit subtle spores that will float around for a small time
    • Blinklights can be planted in Flower Pots

    • Luminance will decrease depending on the strength of the Redstone signal received

    • "A Link Between Worlds", completed by teleporting to a different dimension with a Mirror with Transdimensional enchantment

    • Subtle nebulas and stars will cover The End's sky
    • Nebula colors change depending on the player's biome
  • Enderscape has new lighting for The End

    • Darker and with just a tinge more of green, exploring The End should be much moodier
    • No more eye-piercing brightness! The effectiveness of the "Brightness" option has been reduced in The End significantly
      • Enderscape Brightness at 100% will look similar to Vanilla Brightness at 0%
  • After teleporting with a Mirror, a pink overlay will appear on your screen for a few seconds

  • Celestial and Corrupt Growth can be crafted into Yellow and Purple Dye respectively

  • Dead Chorus Flowers emit pollen particles and will "hum" at random

  • Nebulite Blocks can now be powered with Redstone to create the same particles emitted by Nebulite Ore
