Cobblemounts
...is discontinued in favor of CobblemonRider unless somebody wants to open up a PR to update it. Mojang massively changed how the networking works and it's completely beyond what I've ever seen, and it's another nail in the realization that I don't like working with Minecraft modding (or server stuff for that matter) anymore. This message will be removed if anybody wants to make the aformentioned PR.
Original description:
Cobblemounts is a side-mod for Cobblemon that allows you to ride the Pokemon by interacting with them with an empty hand. You can then ride them across the land at a speed that's determined by the Pokemon's Speed stat. Flying types are able to soar through the air as well, and Water types can soar through the sea!
You can also use the config to control whether the speed for the mounts is capped, whether you can fly/swim, and whether certain Pokemon are blacklisted/whitelisted from being mounted. You can then use the command /cobblemounts reload
to reload your config changes on the fly.
All of the Pokemon are mountable by default. A member of the community has made a config file that whitelists the selection to only Pokemon that make sense It is currently heavily outdated, somebody is invited to update it given the new changes.
Currently for Fabric only. Somebody got it working in Forge via the following:
- sinytra connector
- forgified fabric api
- forge version 47.1.3
- and everything else you'd usually need for cobblemon.
