Overview
Hi, I'm still alive! I've been really busy as of late and was struggling a lot with burnout... but I'm back! Current plan is to further flesh out more compatabilities with Butchery, starting with smaller updates and leading up to a larger content update. Next update will be focused on making more corpses available for the Decomposer, adding more tags for the new Butchery update, and start working on adding recipes for meat deconstruction.
Again, I know this upate is SUPER underwhelming but I promise there'll be more to look foward to in the future!
Butchery
New Additions!
- Added a slew of new recipes for the decomposer for Cow corpses.
Other
Bug Fixes
- Removed Quilt and Fabric from appearing as mod loaders. Biomancy is currently ONLY avaialble on Forge, as such Quilt and Fabric support is counterintuitive.

New Additions!

Overview
Fixed a bug that caused empty tags for meats when certain mods were not installed. Now, tags should work as intended! Additional content are currently being worked on and a new update should be out by the end of the month.
College has been keeping me busy...
BIOMANCY
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue that was causing items to have missing tags when certain mods were not installed.
- Reformatted tags to a newer format to prevent complications from occurring in the future.
Overview
Fixes a small bug that makes Pig Skeleton Corpses unavailable to deconstruct in the Decomposer with Biomancy. Also reorganized the recipe files within the mod for better organization and easier modifications!
BUTCHERY
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue that caused the Decomposer recipe for Pig Skeleton Corpses to be broken
Overview
Added new compatabilites with other mods, still currently a work in progress but the following changes are available in the 2.0.0 update. There's currently plans to add further compatability with Butchery and eventually Sons of Sins. Also now packaged as a Mod for ease of use!
BUTCHERY
BioButcher is now compatatible with Butchery, albeit partially. Full compatability will be added to the future, but due to the size of the mod and the tedium of adding recipes and some bugs, I will be adding things gradually. With that being said...
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where Butchery foods were unable to be cooked using a smoker and lamb sirloin was only able to be cooked using a campfire
New Additions!
- Pig Carcasses can now be deconstructed, have a chance of giving more resources at the cost of more nutrients and taking longer to digest
- All raw meats obtained through Butchery can now be used for the Primordial Cradle and have been given the raw meat tag for Biomancy
BORN IN CHAOS
New Additions!
- All raw meats obtained in Born In Chaos can now be used for the Primordial Cradle and have been given the raw meat tag for Biomancy.
I HATE FLESH:REBORN
New Additions!
- All raw meats obtained through IHFR can now be used for the Primordial Cradle and have been given the raw meat tag for Biomancy

Butcher's Delight items can now be decomposed, including carcasses!
- All meats available through Butcher's Delight can now be decomposed and feature different drop rates depending on cut, animal, and whatever my sleep deprivation told me sounded okay.
- Carcasses can be deconstructed, but take longer than their smaller counterparts. Carcasses take considerably longer to process, but have a chance to give significantly more resources at the cost of additional nutrients and time.
- Skullcow can now be consumed by the decomposer.
Carcasses are designed to have an element of high risk / reward with potentially losing out on resources due to inefficiency, as well as taking significantly longer to digest. Decomposer resource outputs may be subject to change with feedback and further testing.
