Get ready to hit the high seas with the Grimdark Pirate Pack for Minecraft!
Don your cap or tricorne, then suit up with a bandolier, captain's coat and boots! This Pirate themed resource pack includes a set of First Mate's leathers along with 5 varieties of Captain's garb, one for each material type. Once your armor is situated be sure to grab your cutlass and flintlock before heading out for adventure! This combat resource pack contains primarily tool, weapon & armor textures which makes it easy to pair with a builder's pack of your choosing or to simply enhance your look while building with the vanilla block textures.
The Grimdark Pirate pack also includes a thematically appropriate set of tools including custom textures for axes, pickaxes, shovels, sickles (hoes), as well as the compass, flint & steel, shears, and trident! Since the bow and crossbow have been replaced with a pistol and musket, all ammunition has been converted to shot & powder varieties and the sound files have been adjusted as well.
The Grimdark Pirate Pack now features custom armor trims for Minecraft 1.20 and up. Customize your pirate armor with masks, trinkets and other accessories using the new armor trim system.
This pack also includes damaged item textures, so you always know when your tools are about to break. Optifine is required to support some textures, specifically the Elytra variants.
Valorite variants are available exclusively in the Patreon VIP version.
Grimdark FAQ
Q: Can I use this pack as a server resource pack for my server?
A: If you are running a small private server, Yes! I only ask that you not re-upload my textures elsewhere or redistribute them. Permission for public servers is granted to all active Grimdark Patrons.
Q: How do I get the variant textures?
A: Take the appropriate item to an anvil and rename it using the keyword specified above.
Q: The variant textures aren't working - how do I fix it?
A: Variant textures require you to play using Optifine or CITResewn with custom items enabled up to version 1.20.4. Neither currently supports custom item textures in 1.20.5 or up. If variants aren't working, double check your Optifine settings and disable other addons that might be causing conflicts.
Q: When is this pack / texture / feature coming to Bedrock?
A: IF it's possible, as soon as I can. Even though Bedrock and Java look similar at surface level they are VERY different. Just because something is created for one doesn't mean it is supported in the other. Similarly, some things are easy to do in Java that are extremely difficult to do in Bedrock. This means some features may never make it to Bedrock.
Q: Can you add X texture / feature?
A: Please submit all suggestions and requests via DM on Patreon.
Q: Can I redistribute the Grimdark textures in another pack/mod?
A: No.
